This unit permits to control not only power but also other devices. These devices are air-conditioners, fans, refrigerators, TV’s, music systems, theatre systems, geysers and all other electrical gadgets. A whole lot of gadgets are managed with six different control mechanisms – a PC interface, an assortment of manual remote control, a wireless palm PC, voice control, telephone and IVR system or via Internet. There is no requirement of wires to link appliances to control units. Instead of that adapter units can be attached to a device’s plug; sensors or receivers that can be stick around the house. Each device is assigned an address. Upto 256 devices can be controlled from a single control interface. If required multiple devices can be planned to one address to control a set of devices with one switch. You could control these even when you are away from home, i.e through Internet or mobile phone.
